As you can see from the pictures, my sister Elma and niece Larissa flew in from Alberta to meet Marcos, and we will be enjoying their company for the weekend. I advised them to bring earplugs, or be prepared for the mandatory night shift!
Seems like Marcos sprung another hernia. We took him to the doctor this afternoon to check it out and sure enough, this other one on the other side of the groin. Now he has three in total which will likely be fixed in about a year as long as they don’t bother him. We also did a weigh-in. Since the last weight on Monday morning before leaving the hospital, Marcos weighed 1841 (4 lbs 1 ounce) grams and today he weighed 2030 grams (4 lbs 8 ounces) – 38 grams/1 ounce per day. This is very good news…no wonder he got another hernia.
Como pueden ve por las fotos, mi hermana Elma y sobrina Larissa volaron desde Alberta para conocer a Marcos, estaremos disfrutando de su compañía por el fin de semana. Yo les aconseje que trajeran tapones para los oídos, o que se preparen para el turno de la noche, el cual es obligatorio.
Parece que Marcos tiene otra hernia inguinal. Lo llevamos al doctor hoy en la tarde para que revisaran sus testículos y el medico nos aseguro que otra hernia estaba creciendo en el otro lado. Ahora tiene un total de 3 hernias, lo cual será reparado en abril de 2010, si es que no empiezan a molestarle, entonces tendrán que operarlo mas pronto. La ultima vez que pesaron a Marcos en el hospital, eso fue el Lunes antes de darle de alta, su peso era 1841 gramos (4 lbs y 1 onza) y hoy cuando lo peso el medico en su consultorio, peso 2030 gramos (4 lbs y 8 onzas). Esa ha sido una muy buena noticia… eso explica porque le salio otra hernia… con tanto peso!!!
