holding soother/agarrando chupo

We are now weighing Marcos before and after his breast feeding. Depending how much he drinks on his own, the tube feeding is adjusted so his total milk intake is 32 cc. On the video you will see his talent in holding his soother…pretty soon it will be a baseball glove!

A small health concern is that Marcos has two hernias, one by his belly button and the other inguinal (groin area). The first apparently disappears on its own and the second requires an operation. Today the surgeon indicated that he will wait until Marcos is 57 weeks old before doing the simple operation. We continue to pray for this.

Ahora estamos pesando a Marcos antes y después de darle pecho. Dependiendo de la cantidad de leche que tome, disminuyen la leche que le dan por el tubito, que en este momento es un total de 32 ml. En el video pueden ver lo hábil que es sosteniendo su chupo… cuando menos nos demos cuenta estará sosteniendo un guante de béisbol.

Un pequeño problema con su salud, es que tiene 2 hernias, una umbilical y otra inguinal. La primera básicamente desaparecerá por si misma y la segunda tiene que ser operada. Hoy fue a visitarlo la cirujana y decidió esperar hasta que Marcos tenga 57 semanas para someterlo a esa operación, la cual es bastante sencilla. Seguimos orando por esto.
