Dear Friends and Family,
Marcos weighed reached 2 lbs today (907 grams – which in Colombia is apparently 1,000 grams…Aida’s Dad is helping me understand this)! This is good news. When we left him this evening in the hospital, he was sleeping soundly, hardly requiring any additional oxygen. Seems like he likes being on his tummy, his position on the picture.
Tomorrow there are more meetings with the doctors to determine the next steps for his stomach which continues to be swollen. This is our biggest concern now, and we appreciate your thoughts and prayers to help him over this next hurdle.

Marcos alcanzo el peso de 2 libras (907 gramos – en Colombia eso es aparentemente 1000 gramos – a ver, Don Javier, podría ayudarme a entender este calculo??). Esta noticia es buena. Cuando lo dejamos en el hospital esta noche, el dormía tranquilamente, y casi no necesitaba oxigeno adicional. Parece que le gusta dormir boca abajo como esta posicionado en la foto.
Mañana hay mas reuniones con los doctores para tomar los próximos pasos por su estomago inflamado. Nuestro preocupación mas grande es esa, y pedimos sus oraciones para ayudarle a pasar este desafío.
