This afternoon we had a wonderful visit with the head neonatologist who incidentally is from Argentina. He is the leader of the team that reviews each of the babies in the ICU each morning. We were able to converse with him in Spanish which was a real treat for Aida. On top of that, he informed us that the head ultrasound indicated everything was normal. Respiration for the little guy also improved this afternoon which we are thankful. Aida is at the hospital this night and I am at home since she is staying in a ward where I can't stay for night. We are working hard to get some milk from Aida, pumping every 3 hours.
Esta tarde tuvimos una linda visita con el neonatologo que es el jefe, argentino, y lider del grupo de doctores que revisan los bebes de cuidado intensivo todos los dias. Fue un placer para nosotros poder conversar con el en espanol y escuchar su analysis de la situacion. Tambien, nos informo que todo fue bien con la ecografia del cerebral. En este momento Aida esta en el hospital y yo estoy en la casa. Ella fue trasladada a otra parte del hospital donde los queridos esposos no pueden quedarse por la noche. Estamos trabajando duramente, tratando de sacar leche de Aida, "bombeando" cada 3 horas. A la 1 de la manana y a las 5 de la manana tengo que llamarle para despertarla para que haga el trabajo solita.
